The Great Pyramid

a.k.a. The Rythmic Motion Lab

The Church of Mez will be building a giant pyramid at Burning Man 2000. It will be 30' tall and 70' wide at the base. Inside will be a huge dance space and other wonderful things.

Our design is coming along. We have a good idea of how most of it will work. An updated construction design document is available describing the construction plan. (The old one is here.)

New! We also have an engineering calculations document which details the calculations we've done to determine loads and sizes of various things on the structure. This is currently a work in progress.
