The Creed of Mez

The core statement of our beliefs, as authored by mez and the saints at Burning Man 98.

We believe in a mez within us all, that all of us can reach;  A mez that is living by intent rather than by default, by choice rather than reflex, by conquering fears and pursuing dreams rather than drifting lazily between them.

We believe in continual self-invention: envisioning, creating, and becoming our future selves, transcending the limitations we mistake for human nature.

We believe in exploring the world around and within us with childlike wonder and enthusiasm, awake and open to the joy and possibility of every moment and every new experience.

We believe in one true baptism for hedonistic enjoyment, and in the sharing of pleasure and physical resources for the bliss of all.

We believe in many true churches, of which the Church of Mez is but one, soon to be franchised in a city near you.
